The role of the Principal Designer is critical—setting direction where it matters most. Sai Engineering can undertake this role, coordinating technical design and health and safety to ensure risks are identified early, understood clearly, and designed out wherever possible, with a complete and compliant Health & Safety File ready for handover.

Our Principal Designer services support the planning, management, monitoring, and coordination of the pre-construction phase, ensuring projects are developed with safe and buildable solutions at the forefront. This includes reviewing design information, facilitating communication between disciplines, supporting design risk management, coordinating HAZID and design review workshops, and ensuring health and safety considerations remain embedded throughout project development.
Sai Engineering also supports the preparation and management of key CDM documentation, including Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and the Health & Safety File for handover.
