TEMPORARY WORKS
We ensure that all Temporary Works are carried out in accordance with the British Standards BS 5975:2019 as a minimum. Sai Engineering will help with anything from the Temporary Works registers through to design briefs, engaging closely with the permanent works and construction teams.

Principal Designer
As part of Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015, we are able assist in preparing and providing relevant information to help plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety in the construction phase.
Appointing a Principal Designer is and essential part of any construction project, making sure you appoint a Principal Designer at the earlier stages of the project is essential. We will help to coordinate technical aspects, health and safety and a final completed project health and safety file for handover.
The client must appoint a Principal Designer for all construction projects which will involve more than one contactor/sub-contractor. The Principal Designer takes the lead in planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety during the pre-construction phase (design and planning stage) The Principal Designer must have the relevant skills, knowledge, experience and organisational capability to carry out all the functions of the role.
